Story
On the 2nd October 2022, I will be running the London Marathon in an attempt to raise money for Sarcoma UK.
I will be running in memory of my sister-in-law and friend Alana, who we were devastated to lose to this aggressive form of cancer last summer. Alana was full of life and the biggest supporter of everyone she knew.
Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. Alana was diagnosed in November 2020 and passed away just nine months later in August 2021.
I have chosen to raise money for Sarcoma UK, a national charity that funds vital research offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer, and campaigns for better treatments.
Your donation will help researchers find answers, keep Support Lines open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care.
Thank you so much for your support and please share the link to this page.
