Hi! Thanks so much for taking the time to visit our page; we're fighting through the mud, being electrocuted and sore, the blisters and ice to get a free tshirt a free beer and raise some money!
Kibble is one of Scotland’s oldest charities, providing specialist services for at risk children and young adults. Through a range of integrated services, Kibble supports young people (5-25) with complex social, emotional, behavioural and educational difficulties. Services are tailored to the needs of each individual and include; Intensive Fostering, Community Support, Employment and Training, and Specialist Intervention services. Kibble provides a place of safety, structure and stability, opening up new possibilities for young people to play a valuable role in society and preparing them for a happy and fulfilled adult life.We were unsure at first what we could do that would make a difference for the kids and their families and so we asked them...The young people at Arran Unit – Kibble’s residential Care Home in Paisley has a recreation / games room that the young people use in their free time, or when they come in with their foster carers for supervised visits with their families. It has a pool table, children’s toys, small library, games consoles and art equipment. It’s gotten quite tired looking over the years and would really benefit from some TLC to make it much more warm and welcoming!
Funds would be put to great use to re-decorate, replace old hard chairs with new comfortable chairs, buy new art equipment, books, games, and create smaller designated areas. The young people have agreed that this would be a really great project.
