Story
I will be joining my fellow Haines Watts teammates from around the West Midlands, raising money for Acorns Children’s Hospice by completing the Three Peaks Challenge. But.........................
Acorns Children's Hospice is such a special charity I have decided to make my trip to the starting line at Ben Nevis by bike and I'll need your support!
We aim to complete the Three Peaks somewhere close to 24 hrs..ish, over the 2nd & 3rd of July... where is the fun in that, how can you eke out every sponsorship penny from friends and family while up a mountain, descending a mountain, or asleep on a bus traveling to another mountain??
Blink and you will miss it right.....well I'm tackling the 480 mile trip by bike; Worcester to Fort William over 5 days from the 27th June, giving up my body for the Acorn's Children's Hospice cause and gathering as much support as possible while doing it.
Your financial donation will help Acorns provide care and support to life limited and life-threatened children and their families, across the areas of Birmingham, Coventry and Warwickshire, Walsall, Sandwell, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Staffordshire, and Shropshire.
The dedicated team at Acorns also offers psychological, emotional, and practical support, with additional teams of health and social care professionals providing a range of services, including bereavement support and advocacy, as well as several dedicated support groups, helping to reduce the isolation some families can face.
As a father to a young family, I can only think how lucky I am when I listen to the reality of Acorn's day-to-day care and the heroes they call staff.
We know we can count on you...
Kind regards,
Gareth
