Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Last year some of you were so kind as to sponsor us to do the 3 peaks challenge. Including the Gift Aid claim backs, we managed to raise over £1100.

The trouble is it just wasn't challenging enough last year, so we have worked out a new challenge for this year.

On June 11th - June 12th 2010, we have decided to walk the 84 miles of the legacy Hadrian's Wall from the east coast (at Bowness on Solway) to the west coast (Wallsend nr Newcastle) in just 24 hours.

This year's team will be one man lighter than last year's, as we have had to lose Mr Michael Clack due to repeated injuries. Instead, we have gained a driver (Stewart Daykin). Stewart will drive us to the start line and meet us at 20mile intervals, so that we can pick up more food and water along the way. Stewart will then hopefully meet us at the finish line (if he hasn't fallen asleep after being awake for 24 hours also).

The charity we are again sponsoring this year, is the Darent Valley Hospital Little Buds Appeal. This charity supports the Special Care Baby Unit at the Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford. Please be so kind as to sponsor generously for this worthy cause and help to support these innocent new born babies.

Thanks and Regards,

John Mogg, Jay Dickson, Dominic Kirkhope.
