I met Nada in Algeria after hearing about her father begging for help in a hospital.

Nada is 4 years old, has a hole in her heart, doesn’t walk or talk and has some neurological problems. We are yet unsure what type of neurological problems she’s got as we don’t have the funds for her to have the scans and tests she needs to diagnose her properly.

We’ve managed to raise enough money for her to have some appointments. We know that we need to raise funds for her to have an operation on her legs. This will enable her to start learning how to stand and walk. but we still urgently need more.

Her family are poor. The house they live in belongs to the farmer her father works for. I have never in my life witnessed someone living this kind of poverty.

They are not begging for money to improve their living situation, they are asking for help to help their daughter.
