Story
The Royal British Legion is a very important charity offering support and care for former serving members of the British Armed Forces. At a time of significant budget cuts it's need is greater than ever as with an ageing population, many elderly veterans simply get forgotton about. The RBL is there to support them when there is simply no one left who cares.
This will be the 4th annual match held at the National Shooting Centre, Bisley, Surrey. On Saturday 5 September 15 up to 96 competitors will take part in a series of snap and rapid fire practices at ranges from 100 back to 600 yards with the aim of having some fun and raising money for the individuals and families of those that have served in the defence of our country, some of whom have made the ultimate sacrifice. Please support those taking part in the match and spread the word amongst your friends and families. Last year we raised £5000 including gift aid the target this year is £10000.
