We have been training hard for the last 10 weeks in order to support the wonderful work of Sparkles.  The youngsters who attend the therapy sessions are helped and encouraged to improve their communications skills.  Also, the whole family are included learning the skills to assist a child with Down's Syndrome.

Children work in small groups led by a Speech and Language Therapist, to learn strategies and activities which can be used at home to facilitate and develop communication skills.  The weekly sessions also give parents the opportunity to meet other families.

They have been very supportive and encouraging with the development of Helen's son Finn. 

Wish us luck as you will know that we are not natural athletes!!
