Gwent's Charity shop repairs - Abergavenny
Fundraising for Cats Protection
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Today (28th August 2016) our branch had a devastating blow, our charity shop in Abergavenny suffered severe flood damage from the building above it. The shop will be closed for several weeks whilst we evaluate the extent of damage to the building and stock and organise repairs.
Our shop is a major funding source for all the cats in our care and we are going to struggle to meet the usual branch outgoings without it, even for a short space of time (food, litter, parasite control, cleaning products etc)
We currently have extortionate vet bills to pay as a result of numerous litters of sick kittens /cats from multi cat households and abandoned litters. Proceeds from the shop are vital in funding this work.
We will also have major cleanup to do at shop and possibly replacement of equipment once shop repairs are carried out and in the meantime we still have salaries to pay for shop manager and deputy manager with no shop income coming in.
Here in Gwent we are lucky to have a fabulous social media community, friends, followers and supporters of our work. With a heavy heart I'm asking you help by making a donation, of any denomination, every penny counts.

As yet, the exact financial figure required to fix the shop and cover our usual outgoings is unclear. However any excess funds from this appeal will go to helping cats/kittens in our care and the Gwent area.
