Crikey! Kidney cancer eh? Where did that bombshell come from?

Fortunately its been diagnosed early so I should be OK, but I need a major operation in January.

Note 16-12-11: Bowled over by people's generosity!!! Thank you so much. Just been for my pre-op assessment so its beginning to get a bit real for me now. No firm date yet though for the operation.

Update 26-12-11: WOW how much! Totally totally bowled over! Thank you to everyone! Currently I am aching but happy. The weather was kind to me and the shirt just arrived in time. Best wishes to all.
