Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Saturday 30th March 2019 in Courchevel, France, (Le Praz) I'll be attempting to set a new Guinness World Record (GWR) for the greatest distance skied in 8 hours. GWR measure such events in 'vertical feet' and although there is no current record they have set a 'minimum requirement' of 118,110 vertical feet. The equivalent of skiing down Mount Everest four times!
The British Army taught me how to ski, a couple of years ago now, up Mount Troodos in Cyprus. Yep, they have skiing in Cyprus! Having served for a few years it gives me great pleasure to have an opportunity to help those men and women who require the support offered by WWTW.
I'd be most grateful for any donations you can make.
I'll update you with my progress as I go and there may well be a video update before, during and/or after the event so stay tuned.
If you want any more information regarding the challenge please don't hesitate in contacting me, probably best through facebook.

P.S. Cpl Lewis Russo (REME) a British Army ski instructor, downhill racer and a lifelong friend, I am very happy to say, will now be skiing with me for the duration of the challenge.
