I'm Griffin Faecher, and I'm one of the members of the Overlook Junior Board. Students from schools around the county teamed up with Overlook Hospital to raise money for the Overlook Hospital's Children Center, specifically the construction of a new area of the hospital dealing with patients that suffer from mental illness. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, all of us have either struggled or seen someone we know and love struggle with mental health issues. Our goal for fundraising is to ensure the safety and mental security for all of our peers.
