You will probably know I was diagnosed in 2019 with an Acoustic Neuroma (a type of benign brain tumour). Whilst still on watch and wait before deciding on surgery or radiosurgery I have really benefited from the mutual support from others who have also had an AN and this is all facilitated by BANA (British Acoustic Neuroma Associstion). Knowing others who are either at the same stage as me or who have undergone treatment has helped me massively and also the encouragement to get out and do physical exercise which is one of the things which really helps me to combat mental fatigue associated with this tumour.

It has been amazing to have got back into running and I just love the atmosphere when taking part as well as the realisation that the old me is still there. If you are able to donate anything to this small charity it will make a massive difference and help them to continue their amazing work.
