Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Jane, my wife died of Panceatic Cancer last December and all my family felt they would like to do something together in her memory. We alighted on the Bristol Half Marathon (as we were all born in Bristol) and thus Team Jane Tagney was born! We are 8 siblings varying in age from 50ish to 65ish, (some of whom have never run a race before in their lives) plus various nephews & nieces plus runners from Dallam Running Club and Fenland Running Club.       St John's Hospice were very kind and helpful to us in those final months and this is a service which many in our local community have had to have resoucre to over the years. The pragmatic yet truely caring support given by St John's is something which we all feel very much needs to be maintained. But this needs financing and so Dallam Running Club have adopted St. John's Hospice as our charity for 2011.

Please support Team Jane Tagney as generously as you can in the loving memory of Jane and to maintain this wonderful service to our local community.
