Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In June 2012, a friend was diagnosed with breast cancer. At the time of publishing this page she has valiantly fought it with the support of MacMillan, a great charity to support in its own right, but now I have personal reasons to do so.
Rather than tell the whole story here, the following will tell you all you need to know, from beginning to present:

Since writing the original blurb to this, cancer has spread its fingers and touched many more people, as it will continue to do. So your help is really greatly appreciated.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
On a separate note, this will be my 5th Great South - aside from raising tonnes of money for MacMillan my other goal is to run the 10 miles around Portsmouth in less than 1hr 30m, something I have yet to do! I've been very close, but I've just not quite raised enough money to encourage me to run faster....
