Hi! I am running my first ever GNR this year for my lovely little Grandma Kath who has had Alzheimer's for a number of years now. 

Alzheimer's is a disease affecting the brain that slowly destroys memory, cognition and thinking, eventually leading to problems performing the simplest of tasks. It also has a significant emotional impact on the families of those affected.

It's a heartbreaking disease that I wouldn't wish on anyone and I hope that I can make a difference through the money I am able to raise to hopefully find a cure.
