Story
Well, considering that I don't like heights, creepy crawlies and have never slept (sober!) in a tent I decided that it would be a huge challenge for me to climb a mountain. Kilimanjaro is almost 6,000m high, (think of 18-20 shards on top of each other) and I'm planning on getting to the peak. We are going to spend a total of eight days on the mountain, six days on the way up and two days on the way down. I know that it will be painful journey, but I am sure that all of the pain (both mentally and physically) will be
worthwhile when I reach the peak, especially when raising money for such a great cause.
‘Fight For Life’ is an awesome charity helping children with cancer. The children that go through this horrible disease, that has touched us all in some way, are some of the strongest and admirable people I have ever met. The organisers and founders of ‘Fight For Life’ are truly inspirational. They have accomplished so much by aiding the combating of death rates in cancer victims, as well as ensuring that the experience for children is one that is more bearable and tailored to a child’s needs, which are completely different from adults.
Please can I ask that you be generous with your donations based on the effort being made. I hope that those that know me would appreciate a 10 day trip to Africa in a tent, including the rainforest, with no toilets, washing facilities and more importantly mobile phone access would be torturous for me. Please donate as much as possible to make this trip something to be proud of. I promise to put my out of office on, I promise to put my out of office on, I promise to put my out of office on. (my new mantra)
Thank you
