Story
Hi Everyone and thanks for visiting my page.
I know the idea of me running a half marathon will shock many of you and believe me I shocked myself when I agreed to do it, I am sure I will pass out before the finish line but here goes.
I wanted to do something for charity this year as well as get a bit fitter so I don't get laughed at on the football pitch anymore and so thought what better way than to run 14 miles in aid of a great cause.
As hard as its is undoubtedly going to be rest assured I am committed and really want to reach my goal of finishing this. I am running everyday and things are progressing well, I certainly feel the fittest I have been in a long time.
In all seriousness the cause means a lot to me as my nan was diagnosed with Alzheimers before she died 2 years ago. I have seen the effects of this horrible dementia first hand and it really is'nt pleasent. The Alzheimer's Trust are a fantastic charity that rely on donations for funding to enable research for ways to prevent and hopefully one day ultimately cure this disease. Cancer charities recieve 12 times more donations than Alzheimer's charities so I am really hoping to hit my target of £1000.
I would really appreciate your support however small.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
