Story

On the 31st October this year, we were all devastated by the passing of everyone’s fondest friend Stuart ‘Pod’ Fowles. Pod’s departure has been heartbreaking for so many, he was a character like no other, a one off loved by us all.

On the 2nd December we lay Pod to rest, he will never be forgotten, his antics, his charm, his warmth and his generosity will be greatly missed.

In memory of this truly remarkable St Helens son, many of his friends and I would like to help raise funds for the Willowbrook Hospice, the charity of his family’s choice.

On the 19th of December, the weekend of our Winter Solstice, we will ride our bikes from Sunrise to Sunset, 08:24 to 15:53, in a rememberance tribute to Pod.

Any donations, no mater how small will be extremely appreciated and welcomed by the Hospice especially during this troubled pandemic year. Here is the link to our just giving page.

Rest in Peace Pod

Thank You
