I have been running as a hobby since 1998 when I entered the London Marathon. 

In February 2022, I suffered a heart attack and was treated at Musgrove Park Hospital.

The nurses and doctors were amazing and they literally saved my life!

Although 10k doesn’t seem that far for a challenge, I have to be sensible about how far I run these days.

This is a cause that is close to my heart! I want to give back what I can to help them, just as they helped me.

Love Musgrove is the Official Charity of Musgrove Park Hospital. Each year the Hospital treats over 450,000 patients through its emergency department, on its wards and through its outpatient services. Although the Hospital is funded by the NHS, it is vital that we raise additional funds to improve our services, purchase new equipment and continue to provide a positive environment for both patients and their families. Donations made in support of Love Musgrove have a real and tangible impact on the people of Somerset and beyond!
