Story
Hello,
More than 300,000 people in Britain – equivalent to one in every 200 – are officially recorded as homeless or living in inadequate homes, according to figures. The actual level of homelessness is hidden, many people couch surf or jump from different situations and aren't sleeping rough but still have no place to go and actually live. They may not necessarily be sleeping rough, but they are homeless.
Many people have been there for one reason or another - a relationship breakdown, job loss, a bereavement or maybe poor mental health.
People end up sleeping rough for a variety of reasons. Wirral Ark is there to help support them through the toughest of times and I'm proud to be doing something so daft for a cause so close to my heart.
Please help us to help those currently homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Thank you.
