Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
On the 01 July 2011 our beautiful little boy Jamie was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. His whole world was turned upside down at the young age of four. Now six, Jamie has endured two years of gruelling chemotherapy treatment and still has a year to go. The treatment is tough both physically and emotionally for Jamie. Despite this Jamie has taken all the challenges he has faced in his stride and is a very brave wee boy who still loves to laugh and smile.
Jamie is responding well to treatment and thanks to the work that Leukaemia Lymphoma Research carry out Jamie's treatment has been tailored to be as effective as possible with less intensive chemotherapy.
When the charity started in 1960 children with leukaemia had virtually no chance of survival. Now thanks to their research nine out of ten survive the most common form of childhood leukaemia.
Blood cancers including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma affect people of all ages from babies to grandparents. Please donate to give them the best possible chance of survival.
