Story
Our daughter, Grace, was diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome at 7 months old. She had her first seizure at just eight weeks old and despite currently taking 4 medications daily, she still has numerous daily seizures.
Dravet syndrome is a rare and complex, drug resistant form of epilepsy. However, epilepsy is just one part of Dravet Syndrome. Alongside seizures, can come a wide range of issues such as learning disabilities, autism and difficulties with speech, mobility and sleep.
Grace is a happy little girl who thoroughly enjoys attending Angels at Play and this has only been made possible by the care and support she receives from the dedicated staff.
One of the charities that have supported us on our journey is a small charity called The Daisy Garland. It would mean a great deal to us, if you could join in with purple day and make a donation to support this charity and help raise awareness of complex epilepsy.
