Story
Hey Guys! We’re doing our part to save the planet!
On the 29th November our little QUAD is raising money for our partners the Glasgow’s Golden Generation (GGG), as members of the Glasgow University Charity Fashion Show (GUCFS). GGG aims to improve the quality of life of older adults in Glasgow through a variety of support services such as: welfare services (preventing loneliness, social isolation and poverty) community support and volunteering. We are going around our local community in Glasgow, picking up rubbish from our beloved Great Western Road to the Kelvingrove area. A clean environment can
impact our sense of community and is an ode to the commitment we have as people towards our planet’s future. With our community clean-up endeavour, we hope to communicate a real appreciation for things that we’ve taken for granted, especially in relation to lockdowns around the country. In our 4, 2 of us will be collecting trash (not men) and 2 of us will be recycling to really make the best of our clean up.
