Hi lovely people!
Thanks for visiting my London Marathon 2016 fundraising page! EEEK!!!
I am going to be running the 26.2 mile course in honour of my Dad's partner and little brother's mum who tragically lost her battle to sarcoma in March 2014.
This very rare cancer makes up about 1% of all cancer diagnosed each year. Sarcoma UK currently receives no government funding and all of their income comes from the generosity of donors and fundraisers. Money raised helps fund vital research, enables patient support and raises awareness of this little know disease.
So, over the next five months I will give up my social life and begin my marathon journey to raise £3000 for sarcoma UK, in memory of Louise Lambton. Any donations no matter how big or small will be greatly appreciated and you can be sure that every penny will get us one step closer to finding a cure for this terrible disease.
Let the running commence!!!
