We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On March the 8th, I am running the Milton Keynes Half Marathon in aid of Alzheimer's Society, in memory of my godmother Sue Wheldon.

Alzheimer's disease is very close to my heart and I wanted to do something positive to help.

All of the money I raise will help support people living with dementia and their families.  For instance £50 will pay for someone with dementia to go to a Dementia Cafe session every week for a month, where they can meet others, share experiences and feel less isolated.

13.1 miles is no easy challenge especially for a girl who finds watching the marathon on TV exhausting!!

Please  donate to this amazing cause, any donations big or small would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
