Story
Good Humans are delighted to continue supporting Barons Court Project by taking part in this year's London Homeless Collective Night Walk. The Collective is a group of 25 charities from across the capital who work from pavement to policy to put an end to homelessness. This is the first time they're all coming together to raise funds to tackle homelessness and the collective target is £100,000.
Barons Court Project is close to our hearts! It's the only service of its type in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham that offers direct access specifically to people who are street homeless and have a mental illness. They receive referrals from GPs, community psychiatric nurses, social workers and hostel keyworkers. Their services include Drop-Ins, Life-Skills workshops, 1-1 advice and subsidised meals, showers and laundry. They aim to build service users self-esteem, confidence and hope to prevent them from suffering the effects of isolation and loneliness.
Please dig deep and give generously!
