I am the Fundraising Manager for Brain Tumour Research and as you can see from the photograph taken earlier this year (2012), I am the guy leaning on the bikes.!! However, this time I will be getting up on one and trying to do my bit for Brain Tumour Research on 23rd February 2013 in a 12 hour marathon spinnathon called 'On Yer Bikes for Brain Tumour Research' which will be taking place in Glossop. Paul & Jenny Halfpenny are the organisers again and after meeting them both at the last event, they gave me the inspiration to join them in 2013. Paul who is 35yrs has a brain tumour that was operated on but it returned in November 2011, he has undergone Chemotherapy. Paul & Jenny are a wonderful couple and this is why I decided to support them in their next venture. At the last event they only expected to raise about £2,000, this was surpassed to the tune of £13,000+, I would like to see this figure beaten and with your support it can.
