We support people to help rebuild lives after stroke.

Story

Glitter Mitten are not a famous pop-rock band from the 80's who are embarking on a European come-back tour in 2014! But, after a successful 2013 raising almost £2000 for EACH Children's Hospices, Glitter Mitten are back anyway! Can there be more spandex?! ... probably not!

We'll be joining a bunch of awesome loons, all raising money for different charities, and taking on the Czecheap Challenge - this will mostly involve dressing up like fancy fools and taking the Mitten Mobile (a VW Polo with only 180k on the clock) on a grueling journey from Hull to Prague (via the Nurburgring, of course!) in just 3 (and a bit) days. It's going to be fun, but tough.

This year we are raising money for the Stroke Association in memory of Adam's aunty, the super duper amazingly awesome Ciocia Mary. Most of us will know, or have known, someone who has been affected by a stroke, and you'll understand how important it is to help the Stroke Association not only deliver research, but also support those who need help to rebuild their lives.

Please give anything you can, we'll be really grateful.
