This page is to raise money for local charity 'Held in our hearts' in  memory of Glen Sives. A great friend, mentor and family man. Sadly missed.

Shortly before his death Glen was looking to raise funds for 'Held in our Hearts'. Glen had attended a presentation given by the charity, he was so moved he decided he wanted to raise money for them. Typical of Glen he always wanted to help others. Sadly he wasn't able to organise any fundraising prior to his death and this page has been started, with the consent of his family as a way to honour and rremember not only Glen but his kindness and selflessness. 

From Held in our hearts:

Held is our hearts are an Edinburgh based charity providing  baby loss counselling and support to families with over 40 years experience of offering compassionate bereavement care in the community.  All donations will go towards providing peer support and specialist trauma informed counselling so that no one is alone after their baby or child dies. The charity are touched that Glen was impacted so deeply after hearing about our cause and that he would go home and talk about rasing funds to help the charity.  Everyone at Held in our hearts are holding the family in their thoughts at this sad time.
