The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre serves the population of the West of Scotland.  It is the leading centre for the delivery of non-surgical cancer care for this area and is the second largest Cancer Treatment Unit in the United Kingdom.  The Centre provides a very wide-ranging and diversified service from a multi-disciplinary team of staff. 

The Centre is involved not just in treating patients but also in carrying out clinical and laboratory research which allows us to investigate possible new treatments of cancer and to look into causes of cancer as well.  The research which is carried out is obviously costly and depends upon grants from large cancer organisations and also money raised locally.

I managed to complete the 10k run with a time of 1 hour and 4 minutes. Please help to make it worthwhile by giving generously to this fantastic cause
