We offer care and support to people facing a life-limiting illness

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In June 2013, Zoe's Dad, Vinny, died suddenly. Zoe was only 6 years old, she was the apple of her dad's eye. Zoe is currently attending the STARS grief programme provided by The Peace Hospice, Watford. STARS provides support to bereaved children aged 5-12 years and their carers. Zoe has met other children who have also experienced the death of a loved one. Through the programme she is learning how to express herself and hold onto precious memories.

Like her Dad, Zoe loves sport. Vinny was always keen for Zoe to be active and they enjoyed taking part in different activities together. Zoe is planning to have days out cycling with family and friends, over the summer holidays, at various locations around England. She hopes to cycle 100 miles in total, and raise money to support the STARS programme that has helped her cope emotionally with her loss. The money will help support this fantastic service.
