UPDATE:

Unfortunately due to the rising COVID cases Ora and I decided not to go on the walk as we were worried about catching COVID/isolating and missing her Bat Mitzvah.  

Instead we are walking 25km across the bridges of London.  Not quite as picturesque but still some great scenery!

Over the past 18 months we have realised how truly lucky we are.  We have a roof over our head, plenty of food to eat and can afford the things that we need.

There have been plenty of campaigns highlighting child poverty and this has made us think about the wider world around us.

GIFT support people in the local community with food parcels, help at home, tutoring and other services.  This is done with the utmost respect for the individuals involved.

We want to play our small part!  As part of Ora's batmitzvah celebrations she has been baking and selling crepes and now it is time to work off those calories by climbing 2 mountains in the Lake district with the Bnei Mitzvah Challenge.  We have trained hard and are looking forward to an eventful weekend!
