Story
The people of Haiti are suffering from the devastating effects of Hurricane Matthew, the most powerful hurricane to hit the Caribbean in nearly a decade.
Hundreds of people have been killed and over half a million people have been displaced and are in urgent need of food, clean drinking water and safe shelter.
Khalsa Aid has been actively working in Haiti since the 2010 earthquake to uplift the lives of local communities. Our relief team will be leveraging our field experience and long standing community relationships to provide vital humanitarian support.
During our time in Haiti we will be making an assessment of the damages and will be providing food, clean drinking water and basic shelter construction materials.
