Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Many of you will know that this is my delayed mini gap year - or as someone (who shall remain nameless, but who lives at no 10) said my menopausal sabbatical!
I am intending doing numerous activities this year, race for life, cycling around the Isle of Wight in a day with my daughter Lindsay, jumping out of an aeroplane - hopefully strapped to someone with a parachute and ofcourse volunteering abroad, Borneo and Albania are on my itenerary, although I think I am also going to France to paint some doors or help put a pizza oven back together - it will be varied if nothing else.
The first sponsorship opportunity is the cycle ride around the Isle of Wight - its 65 miles - and uphill all the way (well it looks like it from here) on the 29th May 2010
The Woodland Trust is an amazing organisation and if you can't sponsor me please sneak out at night with a small seedling tree and plant it somewhere it will thrive and grow - I think its called guerilla planting!
More later - with pics on my activities.
