I started running four years ago when I took part in the Chariots of Fire Race in Cambridge with a team from Park Street School. In order to get round the course I joined a weekly running group and have been running (slowly) ever since. This year I took part in the Cambridge Half Marathon. To the surprise of everyone I got a place in the London Marathon and this is a really big challenge for me. The weather this year has not been kind and training has been hard! I need all the support I can get to get me round the 26 miles. I have chosen to run for the East Anglian Air Ambulance in support of a child at my school who was helped by them after a road accident. He has raised more than £2000 and I would like to try and match his sterling effort. Thank you for your support.
