Thank you for visiting our just giving page in memory of Gill Howorth.
Gill passed away on April 4th 2020, an incredible woman who fought hard against Ovarian Cancer. We are raising donations to help The Cancer Research Trust in the hope that through research we will find a way to beat Cancer.
Gill was supported through her journey by many nurses, doctors and hospital staff from porters, receptionists to pharmacists who all work incredible hours and no matter what, always smile and deliver tirelessly and professionally and are still expected to do so, even today in these difficult times.
We have chosen the Cancer Treatment and Research Charity so that hopefully others will benefit in some way no matter how small in continued support and be able to live a long life and many happy years.
If you were lucky enough to know Gilly you will remember her incredible zest for life, her love for Spain and her ability to turn even the darkest days into sunshine. Gilly's wish is that we celebrate her life and remember the smile she brought to our faces and laughter she brought to our lives.
