I have joined a band of insurers and brokers to support the Insurance United against Dementia campaign to raise a total of £10 million pounds to fund research in trying to support the research in trying to find a  and cure for this condition. The Covea Insuretek will aim to raise a total of £75k towards the overall total by spending 3 days of their own time  trekking the Mont Blanc massif in the Alps, sleeping in dormitories and blisters galore no doubt.

I am sure a number of people know of someone who has suffered or is suffering from this awful disease and I currently have a father in law who is currently diagnosed with Vascular dementia and its a pretty heartbreaking journey.
