How lucky am I? Being selected as a ballot place runner in the London Marathon was a shock...big shock! However, I intend to give it my best and make mum and dad proud! It is for them and Marie (my mother in law), that I have chosen to raise money for Help the Hospices as they all benefitted from the services provided by the hospices in many different ways. Sadly, they are not here to  see me run; however, when I told mum I had a place in the marathon, she promised she would be there cheering me on...and I know she will!
