Hello, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!! A huge thank you also to everyone who donated on my last page for the 21 miles in June challenge! Together we raised an amazing £375.00 for MND!

Those of you who know me will know my gorgeous Aunt is struggling with Motor Neurone Disease after being diagnosed earlier this year. Understandably this diagnosis has been heartbreaking for her and her friends and family. We all love and adore her so much.  

Since her diagnosis in January (I am writing this now in October) she has now lost the ability to move. She can only move one finger and tilt her head slightly to the left. She can’t scratch her nose, move her hair back from her face or feed herself. She requires 24 hour care and soon will lose the use of her voice. MND is a truly devastating illness, I can’t describe just how terrible.

As some people may know, earlier this year I ran 21 miles for MND. Now I’m doing the 7 in 7 challenge which is just doing as much as you can/ want to over 7 consecutive days. I am aiming to run/walk 7km a day which whilst isn’t a lot, is when you’re a literal couch potato! This page will also be used as a general fundraising page and I’ll be updating my fundraising activities as and when.

So on that note, if you’re feeling any kind of way after reading this, any little donations are so welcome and greatly appreciated for this amazing cause. The more research that goes into MND the better equipped we will be to help people and hopefully one day eradicate it!
