Everyone has been struck by cancer in some way and for me it was my mother. She had a rare form of cancer in the salivary gland about 8 years ago now, when I was only 13 years old and my brother was 11. It was difficult for me at the time to process what was going on and I had the constant negative thoughts in my head “am I going to lose my mum”, “is she going to die” and “how long do I have left”. After four operations she is living everyday to fullest and is happy & healthy fully discharged from the hospital eight years on. Without the help from Cancer Research she would not be here today. 

Cancer Research UK is the only charity researching over 200 types of cancer, and the amazing support from people like you is helping our scientists to find new ways to prevent, diagnose and cure cancer. Cancer survival rates have doubled in the past 40 years but there is still so much more to do.

To show my gratitude I will be undergoing 8 weeks of boxing training with Ultra White Collar Boxing who is in partnership with Cancer Research. I will be very grateful to anyone who donates or shares my page.
