Story
Our little boy George was born at 9.34pm on Thursday 30th April via a c-section, a healthy weight of 8lb 6oz
Unfortunately, due to complications during birth he was immediately transferred to the Neonatal Unit at the West Suffolk Hospital in an incubator. As well as a transfusion of plasma, he also received 2 blood transfusions, oxygen and numerous other medical interventions by countless members of the hospital team. The staff there were brilliant and did their utmost to save our little George. They looked after him as if he was their own.
George was brought to us by the team in the Jasmine suite where he passed away peacefully in our arms 6 hours later.
We would love to raise some money for the Neonatal Ward. Whilst the unit is fully kitted out to provide the very best of care, they would love to get it redecorated in the next 12 months to make it even cosier for babies & their parents. We know they have a wish list and we would love to be able to contribute as part of George’s legacy.
Thank you 💙💙
