Story
Hello All,
Firstly thanks for visiting our page, you can judge our sanity once you've read our plan...
Liam and I, self proclaimed 'moderately fit' gentlemen of the south east region, have created our very own alternative triathlon. We wanted to really test ourselves in an effort to raise money for a charity we are incredibly passionate about, 'The Muscle Help Foundation'.
We are fortunate enough to have never experienced a debilitating disease, frankly- we take our bodies for granted. So, we wanted a challenge that would make us appreciate what we have and raise awareness for people who's abilities are limited but are stronger than we ever will be.
We set off on our Alt-Triathlon on Wednesday 18th May '17, with a 9 hour drive to Ben Nevis, in good old Scotland, where our Adventure will begin!
At 2pm the following day we begin our 24hr CLIMB. First, up the mighty Nevis, as the first of the three peaks (a renound hiking challenge) to then tackle Scarfell and Snowdon, to arrive (hopefully) in Salisbury.
The following day, kindly chauffeured by good old Andy Harris, we then drive to Netheraven Airfield where we take to the skies.
Both for the first time ever, we decide to DIVE 10,000ft from a plane to land and drive straight to Southampton where we begin the final test.
We then finish the Alternative Triathlon with a RIDE, 66 miles to Brighton where at the other end, there best be a pint...
A CLIMB.
A DIVE.
A RIDE.
A test of our ability for a wonderful cause.

Wish us luck....
