Story
On Sunday 23rd of April 2023, i'll be proudly running the London Marathon in support of a best mate, Bertie Clarke & In loving memory of Matilda Curran, better known as Tildy to those that were fortunate enough to know her.
The reason for selecting Children with Cancer is because Bert & Tildy suffered from cancerous diseases at an incredibly young age.
Tildy very unfortunately passed away from Lukemia as a young teenager. Tildy is forever in our hearts and everyone who knew her will agree that she lit up any room she entered. We grew up as neighbours, she was my godsister and our families have been incredibly close for years and years.
Bert was struck with a malignant Brain Tumour at the age of 10 years old which caused him to miss multiple years of school due to intense treatments. Luckily he's fully recovered which is all down to the amazing work cancer specialists do up and down the country.
The photo gallery above shows our group of friends who supported Bert during this time and also images of Tildy and I as small children! This is an opportunity to show support for both Bert & Tildy but also all the victims of these horrible diseases.
Thank you so much for reading this, anything you can spare would be hugely appreciated. It really does mean so much to me and my loved ones. Below is some more information on Children with Cancer which i'd love you to read if you have a moment:
