Story

Sadly, George passed away at the age of 18 due to complications arising from Marfan Syndrome. He unexpectedly and suddenly suffered an aortic dissection and was unable to be revived, despite being carefully monitored by the hospital since birth.

George recently began studying for a Biochemistry degree at Bristol University and was doing incredibly well with 1st class marks in his latest exams. Unfortunately, he never got to find out his results after spending much of Christmas studying for them. We are sure he would have gone on to great things.

George had multiple skills and interests including football, acting, singing and drumming. He had a kind and generous nature and was extremely thoughtful. He will be missed by all very much.

George's two sisters and father also have Marfan Syndrome. His father has undergone a number of successful operations to repair his aorta and heart valve.

We know George would want to help others with Marfan Syndrome and have set up this JustGiving page in his memory.
