My sister Suzy died from pancreatic cancer last year after a brief and brave struggle. Throughout her life she inspired love, friendship and loyalty. She is greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Her indomitable spirit led her to run the Great North Run several times in the years before her death to raise money for charity. I am taking part in it this year with other members of my family in her memory and to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
