Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Once again I'm doing the Great North Run for Cancer Research UK. Thanks to all of you who donated last year, I raised £170. I've put a target of £300 on this year in view of the continuing shortage of spare cash we're all suffering, and hope, with your help, to get there this year. I'm sure you know someone who has been directly or indirectly affected by cancer, I know, I have. Cancer Research UK is the foremost charity working to develop treatments and cures for this illness and is funded entirely by donation. So come on folks, get out those credit or debit cards and stick a donation on. It'll take you around 5 minutes, it'll take me about 100 to do my bit! The race is on 19th September this year, televised on BBC (I think, it was last year). If you watch it you might even see yours truly!

Thanks in anticipation.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
