We provide specialist nurses to support families affected by dementia

Story

Lilian Doyle died on Saturday 12th October 2013. Whilst the cause of her death was not really related to Dementia, the last ten years of her life saw a steady deterioration in her mental health.

Family and friends helped to make her life as pleasant as possible through this time, but I think it's fair to say that none of us were equipped with the knowledge and skills to effectively deal with the Dementia.

Dementia and Alzheimer's are given more prominence these days and charities like Dementia UK need to be at the forefront of training and publicising how Dementia patients should be treated.

I hope you can find your way to making a donation to this worthwhile organisation.
