As Master of the Worshipful Company of Cordwainers, I have undertaken to raise £10K to supply the contents of a library for the "Free and Parochial School" in Hackney.  They have a new library but few books and need the help of anyone who will.

 

As a first event, I and my Senior Warden Charles Fairweather will walk to all 40 Livery Halls in the City of London on 15th September, dressed in full regalia (which is heavy).  The distance is about 8.5 miles.

 

Please help.  I am asking for your generosity for this, my Master's year, a position I hold for this year only. I do not intend to ask again in future years.

 

We can make a difference to a lot of childrens' lives in one of the most deprived areas of our Capital.
