Thanks to everyone for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On July 10th, the day after Pete's birthday  we will be wending our merry way along the 60 or so hilly miles from London to Brighton on our bicycles. I will be riding a bike with 21 gears; whilst Pete intends to tackle the route on a bike with just one.

Pete is sacrificing his birthday drinking session to take part in the charity bike ride. At the moment he's of the opinion that not drinking on his birthday will prove more difficult than the ride. So this year we are asking, rather than buying Pete a drink, please contribute that money to some exceptionally worthwhile charities – his liver will appreciate it! 

The charities we will be supporting are Norwood which improves the quality of life for people with learning disabilities and their families, the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and the Down's Syndrome Association.
