For people that know me well, they may have let out a slight chuckle when they heard that I would be running a half marathon!! But if you take the time to read about Macmillan's great work you will understand why I want to give back.

It's not only patients who live with cancer, Macmillan also help carers, families and communities|. Macmillan guide people through the system, supporting them every step of the way. They do so much more than just give medical help, they help and support patients and their families through all aspect of they lives, giving them the reassurance they need through this tough stage of their life. Together Macmillan listen, learn and act to help people live with cancer.
